Equitee Chambers operates as a legal consultancy under the Advocates Act of 1961 and the Bar Council of India. Our consultancy is limited to advice, opinion, or guidance to clients based on the facts, documents and instructions provided by the client. In addition to this, our services are advisory in nature and assist the client in gaining an understanding of their legal entitlements, responsibilities and remedies under the law applicable to the client.

All advice is given to the client after a thorough analysis of the statutory provisions and the case law, as well as settled legal principles. We do not solicit or advertise our services, nor can we guarantee any result from any legal matter. Each matter is dependent on the law and the facts associated with that matter, and therefore, we only offer opinions after we have received complete disclosure of the relevant facts.

Equitee Chambers maintains all client confidences in accordance with the rules of professional conduct. A consultancy is not a legal representation and unless expressly agreed, will not constitute the provision of legal representation as set out in the law. The Chambers is an independent professional legal practice acting with integrity, impartiality and honour in furthering the objectives of the legal profession.

confidentiality, Equitee Chambers offers legal consulting and support in the area of contract law according to the Advocate’s Act, 1961, and the rules made by the Bar Council of India. Our value system as a firm includes adherence to professional ethics, independence, confidentiality, and following the statutory obligations for practicing law.

Legal consulting services are strictly limited to providing legal advice, doing legal document preparation, providing legal opinions, and representing clients in accordance with the facts provided by the client, the documents provided by the client, and the instructions provided by the client. We do not solicit, advertise, or guarantee specific results regarding the legal services we provide.

Consultancy services cover a range of contract law matters, including establishing the existence and validity of contracts, interpreting what an agreement means or the obligations of each party under the agreement, performing obligations under a contract, and enforcing the terms of a contract.

We provide consulting services only based on the facts and documents provided by the client. The scope of services may include drafting, commenting on the terms of an agreement, and advising on compliance with applicable statutes. We do not have expertise in providing business or commercial consulting services nor provide any assurance about the outcome of the services we provide. All consultations will be kept confidential

MATRIMONIAL LAW

Equitee Chambers offers assistance for family and matrimonial law matters under the Advocates Act of 1961 as well as the Bar Council of India Rules. Services are rendered to clients with sensitivity, confidentiality, and fairness and in accordance with professional ethics due to the personal and emotional nature of matrimonial disputes. The Advocate’s role is limited to providing lawful legal advice, opinions, and representation only (and not to solicit, advertise, guarantee, or assure results).

Advice regarding matrimonial matters will include advisory opinions about rights and remedies that are available under the applicable personal law and statute relating to marriage and divorce; judicial separation; restitution of conjugal rights; maintenance or alimony; child custody; guardianship; or related issues. Advice will be based solely upon the factual circumstances presented by the client as supported by relevant documentation submitted by the client, and only after a review of currently applicable legal provisions and judicial precedent.

Any information or documentation that is provided by the client will be treated as confidential and privileged. Legal representation will be provided to clients in front of a court or administrative body only after the execution of an engagement letter and to the extent permitted under applicable professional standards. Equitee Chambers does not endorse unnecessary litigation or guarantee results. Legal opinions reflect the law as it exists at the time of consultation but may be subject to amendment as the law evolves.

REAL ESTATE

Equitee Chambers gives clients with legal consulting/assistance relating specifically to real estate/property law by only complying with the Advocates Act, 1961 and the Bar Council of India’s Rules. The Chambers operates pursuant to the standards of professional conduct (ethical) independence, confidentiality, compliance with the law. The services related to real estate/property laws are limited to providing clients with lawful advice, renderings of opinions, drafting documents and/or representation based on material facts, documentation and instructions provided by clients and shall not include any solicitation, advertising or assurances of the results achieved as a result of receiving legal services from Equitee Chambers.

Real Estate consulting is advisory in nature, and serves as a source of information for clients about their rights, obligations and remedies under the law with respect to immovable property; therefore it includes a review of ownership, title; possession; transfer; and compliance with the law regarding statutory obligations with respect to immovable property. Legal opinions will be provided by Equitee Chambers after the review of applicable title documents, law(s) and judicial precedent. Equitee Chambers does not provide abstract/generalised advice, nor does it assume any responsibilities for decisions made at the request of a client who has not disclosed all material facts.

Services rendered in connection with real estate consulting may also include title verification; the review or interpretation of real estate contracts; the direction of clients through the completion of lawful procedures for their real estate matters with competent authorities; and any other services to be defined by the engagement between Equitee Chambers and the client. All consultations conducted by Equitee Chambers are done in the strictest of confidentiality, as well as independent of any influence. All legal opinions will remain within the bounds of the law; therefore they may be restricted by availability of documents or evidence.

CORPORATE LAW

Equitee Chambers offers legal advice and consulting in the fields of corporate and commercial law in accordance with the Advocates Act of 1961 and the Rules of the Bar Council of India, and in line with established professional ethics. The operations of Equitee Chambers are built around the principles of independence, confidentiality, and compliance with the law. Our legal services are limited to providing lawful advice, drafting, opinions, and representation based on the facts and documents provided to us by our clients, and we do not advertise our services, nor do we guarantee any particular results.

Corporate law consultancy is advisory in nature and involves advising clients on matters related to incorporation, compliance with statutory requirements, corporate governance, commercial agreements, and the rights and obligations of parties under Indian law. We provide our clients with legal opinions that are based upon a careful analysis of the facts, documents, and current legal doctrine and practice including judicial authorities relating to the subject matter. We do not provide abstract or generalised opinions, nor are we responsible for decisions made by clients based on incomplete information.

Equitee Chambers does not offer business, financial, or strategic consulting services, and does not make any representations regarding its ability, success rates or influence. All consultations that we conduct are treated with the strictest confidence and are done with complete independence from all other parties. The opinions provided by Equitee Chambers will reflect the law applicable to the date the opinions are provided and will be subject to change based upon any subsequent legislation or judicial changes. No client–attorney relationship will exist unless and until Equitee Chambers has formally engaged its client under the Indian Advocate’s Act.
